Best airfare Ft. Lauderdale to Marsh Harbor
Does anyone know what a "good" round trip ticket price is from Ft Lauderdale to Marsh Harbor?
Any deals out there? I've checked Travelocity and Expedia but wonder what's reasonable?

You don't find alot of "deals" into the Bahamas. There are only a couple of airlines that fly into the Abacos and I think out of Ft. Lauderdale you have even fewer choices.
You might try flying into Nassau and take Bahamas Air over to Marsh Harbor.
There's also a ferry I think that goes to The ABacos, so you might try www.bahamasferries.com for info and pricing. That also goes out of Nassau.
USAir, American, Continental and Delta have flights (some with sharing) into the Bahamas. Also check Bahamas Air at their website www.bahamasair.com for times and fares.
Hope this helps.

An airline you won't find on the travel sites that goes into MHH is http://www.flyyellowairtaxi.com/. As far as ferries from Nassau, I think the only out island you can get a ferry to is Eleuthera.

Check the Abaco forums to get a listing of the commuter carriers. While the airfares on US commercial airlines flying to MHH have been high lately -- I used to be able to go BWI-MHH on AA for under $450, and now it's more like $800 round trip -- the charter/commuter fares seem to have stayed fairly flat, and are probably lower now than commercial (but, alas, still no bargain).

I just checked the www.bahamasferries.com website and the ferry is doing runs to Sandypoint, Abaco. Check the website for sailings and rates.
Have a GREAT time.

Callaloo, we haven't been to Abaco in at least four years, but back then could fly roundtrip PHX MHH sometimes for under $500. Now I am seeing fares of close to $900 when I check for a possible Feb. trip.
