Our ship docks at kings wharf for 2.5 days mid-october. Our 1st time there. Due to physical limitations, beach & hiking are out.Sightseeing, shopping & eating is about it. Saw phone # on another topic for taxi driver named Jack.. Can anyone suggest any must sees or reasonably priced restaurants for local food?

a. Buy a transportation pass. You can easily ride to St. George or Hamilton/
b. Visit the Underwater Exploration Museum in Hamilton.
c. Tour the Dockyard musuem.
d. Stop in Par La Ville Park for an afternoon coffee (the Lemon Tree).
e. You might consider asking Jack if he would offer a three or four hour tour of the island so you can get oriented.
The local food is Bermuda fish chowder, cod cakes, and Bermuda spiny lobster. Try Hog Penny Pbu, Frog and Onion, The Spot, Traditions for moderately priced meals. The bar in the lobby of the Southhampton Fairmont has several good pub options for a reasonable price. Most restaurants have their menus posted out front so you can get an idea about price. I find a great way to go to the wonderful ones is to visit at lunch.
Have a good visit. Bermuda is another world.

Tribe Road Kitchen in Hamilto is winning Best of Bermuda awards for their sandwiches, pastries, they're doing pizzas as well, lovely little place to get a bite.
