Bermuda in November - good, bad or otherwise?

I am thinking of a long weekend getaway in early November and have been looking into Bermuda. I know it will be cooler then, but I am not fan of really hot or humid weather, so that is not a huge issue and I am coming from Boston so it will definitely be warmer there than here. Would like to be able to at least sit out on a beach for a day or so on the trip, will that be possible or will it just be too cold for even that? Everything I have read said it would most likely be in the mid-70s that time of year, which sounds lovely to me.
Any and all advice welcome!

jckimba,

We usually travel to Bermuda in June, but a few years back we went down on November 1st for 6 nights. We swam everyday as the water temperature was still quite warm (in the 80's), air temperature in the high 70's. There was a breeze from the north, so when we went in the water we had to go in around our shoulders and the water keep us nice and warm. Of course, there are fewer tourists so the beaches and restaurants are not as crowded. The locals do not go to the beach in November either. One drawback is daylight. It got dark around 4:30. Generally, you can find very good rates starting November 1st.

Early November is fine as stated above. Afternoon temps hover around 74-76 but the water is still in the low 80's. But with global warming the weather patterns have become very erratic. that said you can have temps near 80 but also might hsave daytime highs only at 69070 but the ocean water should not be below 80 for swimming or snorkeling on a tour boat. Great weather for tennis.

I love it here in Nov - the weather is great for being outdoors and the humidity is gone! Do check the website for the Rugby Classic tournament dates that happens in Nov -it's a weeklong tournament of retired rugby teams from around the world. That might affect your hotel options a little. It's great fun to watch, if your visit falls during that week.

Labor Day will be warm and plenty of flowers in bloom. There are great spas at the Reefs, Tucker's Point and the Fairmont Southampton. There are small but excellent spas at Pompano and Cambridge Beaches. What is your budget for lodging? Do you want to be in town or out? Any interests you want to pursue (fishing, scuba, hiking, birding?).
