bermuda in late july?

My husband and I are thinking about booking a trip to Bermuda 7/21-7/24. We have never been to Bermuda and were wondering if it will be too miserably hot and humid for sightseeing at that time of the summer (bearing in mind that we live in NC, so we are not unaccustomed to hot and humid weather). Any opinions? We also thought about Key West (have never been there either). How do they compare? Thanks in advance for any help.

The highest temp ever recorded in Bermuda in July was 91 (Hamilton), and daily high averages 85.
Considering the average high in Charlotte is 89 with a record of 103, and keeping in mind that the breezes in Bermuda are very refreshing and much more ubiquitous than in NC, I'd guess you'll not be put off if you go in July.

Isn't Bermuda off the coast close to the Carolina's.. It has been hot and humid so you will feel at home...Bermuda is a gorgeous spot. Many of the buses are now air conditioned and that helps. Not having been to Key West yet and Bermuda nine times I can tell you it's a lovely tropical piece of the UK..with people who actually like tourists are pleasant and kind..

Yes, I believe it is about 600 miles off the Carolina coast, so we should be just fine. Thanks for the input... we loved the smiling, welcoming faces we encountered in a recent visit to London, so we're really looking forward to Bermuda and hoping to find the same there.

I would choose Bermuda in a heatbeat over Key West. I wouldn't give that a second thought. I was in key west in June once, and it was the most horrible heat I have ever felt, or humidity I should say. Some said it is was worse in July. I couldn't imagine it being any worse. Berumuda is lovely.
