Bermuda Hotel Choice?

We are trying to choose a hotel in Bermuda for an early October vacation. I was looking at the Reefs but several reviews on Trip Advisor have been less than positive lately. How would you compare the Reefs with Pompano Beach Club? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Looking for great beach and food and just plain relaxing.
