Has anyone been there recently? Is it now a wonderful resort or are there still problems with the food, etc.
Thanks,
Judy

just returned from Beaches on Feb6/00. Many things have improved since we were
there Mar6/99. The hotel was at approx 40% occpancy and everyone went out of thier way to ask if you were enjoying your trip...anything they could do etc.
The food was certainly much better than last year. They had a "gala" nite during our stay which was the first of what is to be a weekly affair. It was quite good and had lobster and the shrimp were 6-7 inches long. The only down side was that the pool was COLD again but apparently they had to drain in just before we got there and I hear that they are planning to put a heater in. Overall,it was MUCH better than last year but then last year was pretty bad for a Sandals resort.
