My wife and I are interested in one of these hotels for a February 2001 holiday. We are in our 30's and are looking for a great beach and some nightlife. Any comments or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi James, I went to Breezes Veradero for my honeymoon, and it was incredible. Hassle-free, beautiful resort. The service is really good, the restaurants are incredible and the buffet food is ok. The drinks are strong and plentiful. The pool is large and not crowded, as was the beach. Shade is easy to find on the beach. We really had a wonderful time there.
My wife and I went to Breezes Golf and Beach. Not as fancy as other resorts, but the staff were great fun, food was very good, grounds were very nice. We are returning in the spring.
Hi
Just came back from Cuba. Habana, Varadero and Camaguey. had a great time stayed at the Varadero Sol Melia, breakfast was excellent...including champangne. Dinner was great but $$$$. 2 years ago stayed at the Internacional. and for the price I will go back to the internacional although the food was bad.
