Beach hoilday, 8m old baby in August?
We trying to choose a beach hoilday suitable for our 8month old baby in August (yes I know it's going to be hot, only time we can go) We want stress free relaxing with a bit of luxury and gorgeous beach, pool and dinning.
We will be leaving from a few weeks in Florida (with extended family) then returning home to Nyc!
Want somewhere less bugs, simpler journey and baby friendly.
Luxury but not crazy expensive.
Thinking Caribbean but open to anything not to far away.
Any suggestions, experiences would be great to hear? Thanks!

What's crazy expensive? We need a budget!
Having said that, Turks and Caicos is made for families-- only 80 minutes from Miami on a big jet. Most resorts are condo units, so full grudges come in handy for babies
Sapodilla Bay is a baby dream, ankle to knee deep water and so calm and clear
Make sure to lather sunscreen like crazy, sun is crazy in august.
Dining some of the best in Caribbean, especially for families.

IF you want less bugs I would opt for Aruba. I family friendly destination, and I have never been bothered by bugs in Aruba. It is either "Bug free" or the winds keep them away. You are leaving from Florida so it is a 4 hour flight or so--

I think that's a tight budget for the Caribbean, especially Turks and Caicos. You could think about renting a private house, but even that budget may be unrealistic.
And although Aruba is nice for families, I think it's too far with an 8-month old.

WWK I traveled to Japan with my son when he was 8 months old from LA--I don't see why Aruba is too far for an 8nmonth old baby? Most islands are about that give or take an hour to any destination and going back to New York is the same about 4.5 hours. Sitting on a plane and extra half hour is not a big deal for a sleeping baby. August would be a low season and I believe $300 a night would be doable if winter I would say no-but August will be the lowest time of year.
Bermuda is a good idea although not really the Caribbean. It would be warm, not sure about Budget I have only been there on a cruise. It is closer to new York.

Well yes OP does say simpler journey--not sure what that means exactly to clarify getting on a plane non stop is pretty simple to me. Not sure if she would prefer the Bahamas or San Juan. The Bahamas would be closer to Florida. She could just go to the Keys and stay in Florida for that matter.
Turks and Caicos has Beaches Resort could not get any more family friendly then Beaches resort. Condos we well.
