Barbados-Single Mom w/two teens-where to stay

Hi....wanted to get opinions/advice. single mom w/2 teens - Typically we travel for spring break together - last couple years have done all inclusives (which is good w/kids b/c seems like they are always hungry! stayed @ las americanas cancun=ok, kids liked, stayed in jamaica last year grand palladium also ok).

But i'm not completely set on all inclusive. priorities would be resort/hotel 1) beach 2) activites within walking/short drive for kids (parasail, turtle swim). or place with kitchenette/grocer nearby to keep bfast/lunch on hand & go out to dinner each night.

like turtle beach but really on high side...any ideas/suggestions. we are pretty adventurous, but also like down time/beach days/days with naps included. :)
