Barbados Atlantic Coast historic home question

Hello all -- I was last in Barbados in 1985! During that visit, I took photos of an amazing property on the Atlantic coast. It was a beautiful large white cliffside home, sitting above a cove beach, in isolated splendour. The house was completely closed up. There was no evidence that anyone had lived there for a long time. In fact, it looked abandonned.

Family members are going to Barbados in March and I would love to tell them where and what this is. For that matter, I'd be fascinated to know myself.

Thanks in advance for any leads!

Follow the link below to check out a couple of properties it might be -- either Belair Great House or Bottom Bay House fit the bill.

If it's either one of these, Ron Stoute rents them out for villas.

Hello:

We use to always go to the Kingsley Club for lunch , which is on the Bathsheba coast, but closed down now, which is a shame.
They were thinking of building condos there.
Also, we stay at Coral Reef Club on the St. James coast for many years, would it be worth staying a couple of days at Edgewater Inn or Round House?
Thanks.

Edgewater is a real dump and gets terrible reviews by everyone. The Round House has a great setting, but is a budget accommodation. The food at their restaurant is great. We always stop for lunch.

Coral Reef Club is fabulous (West Coast). They just completed some new additions of luxury cottage suites and plantations suites -- absolutely fabulous.

Hello:

Thanks for the info on Edgewater. We always stay at Coral Reef and were there 2 years ago when they were under construction. Yes, it is lovely. I was just wondering if it was worth spending a couple of days on the east coast, but I don't think so.
Thanks
