Bahamas girls trip

Does anyone have a suggestion of which island and town to stay for a girls trip next Febuary. We like to go have a nice meal and a few drinks at night and maybe find some live music. We also would like to be on a nice beach with snorkeling near and maybe some other water activities like paddle boarding. I really dont want a Vegas atmosphere, something more laid back would be great. I'm having a little trouble narrowing it down so any advice would be great.
Thanks in advance

The Bahamas can be very chilly in February. You might want to go farther south.

I agree. I would go further south in February if you want to be on the beach.

Thank you, I did wonder about that. We may have to consider a different place.

Here are other islands in the Caribbean. All of them are great travel options, but Jamaica and the Dominican Republican have fantastic weather and activities for groups.

Puerto Rico, Turks and Caicos, Virgin Islands, Jamaica and Dominican Republic.

I would go PR or further south for guaranteed warm waters (no Bahamas or Turks).

Strangely, we've had perfect weather and water temps in Turks and Caicos, even though it's just below the Bahama island chain. We go almost every year now, first week or two in January.

I'll jump out there with a totally different suggestion- Tulum, Mexico. Lots of little bars, restaurants, beautiful beaches with good snorkeling- we were there in February this year and the weather was glorious....
just a thought.

For a girls trip, consider Isla Mujeres, Mexico. It is about twenty mintues by ferry from the dock in Cancun. It is delightful, small (7 miles long), has about 300 restaurants/bars and the beaches on the side facing Cancun are sugar sand white against the beautiful blues of the Caribbean. There are many reasonably priced hotels on the island. Food and drink an inexpensive compared to USA prices and other Caribbean islands. Eight of my lady friends went there last year and had a blast! My wife and I returned on May 27, 2015 from five nights there. If you are in the southeast USA, there is a non stop flight from Charlotte.
Rent a golf cart and have fun!!
