Bahamas All inclusive for 40th birthday "girls" trip
We need help choosing an all inclusive resort for 7 girlfriends who will all be celebrating our 40th birthdays. We are thinking Bahamas because we can only get away 3 nights and it is closer. How do they price it with an odd number? Which resort would be lively?

Atlantis is not all inclusive and food there is not cheap....nor is their meal plan.
The "girls" would probably have a great time there, but they asked about AI.
Still waiting to hear if that is non negotiable.

I have to agree with Schmerl. There is Breezes and a RIU on Paradise Island. I have a hard time recommending either as the food quailty is sub par and they are more for low budgets with families.
The Atlantis is an overpriced Caribbean Disneyland for kids. It is not AI, but they offer an expensive meal plan, which is not worth it. I would never recommend to anyone, much less a group of adults, unless you are looking for that type of experience and budget is of no concern.
The Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach offers an AI plan and the Paradise Island Harbour Resort is all inclusive. Of the 2 I would go with the Wyndham.
We stayed at Sandals and found Nassua a bit drabbed. Nothing really to do there except snorkeling and sailing. If you plan to just hang at your resort for 3 days and take a sailing daytrip, then it might be what you are looking for.
I spent my 40th in Cancun and loved it. We did this bar hopping trip on my actual birthday to 3 of their main bars/dance clubs with a group of people and had a blast, but that was the type of 40th birthday I was looking for. I would recommend the Royal Playa del Carmen in Playa del Carmen. It's an adults only AI within walking distance to restaurants, bars, clubs, discos, funky bars, entertainment and shopping. More "lively" for a group.
