I am sailing into Nassau on July 11th (a Saturday) and want to take the kids to Aquaventure on Paradise Island. Anyone else going to be at Atlantis that weekend who is willing to help me out by purchasing 2 extra adult and 2 kids tickets for the water park?

Do resort guests also have to buy tickets for Aquaventure?
Ithink all the amenities are only available to guests at ATlantis, but there are day passes available if the hotel is not full.
You might check directly with Atlantis by calling their toll free number or checking the www.atlantis.com website for more info.
If you are going to be there for the day, you also might go see the Ardastra Zoo and Park. The bus will take you right there for very little per person, and the zoo is quite good. The kids will love it.
The water slides at Atlantis are generally off limits to all but Atlantis guests. You can get a room for the day at Comfort Suites which would give all of you full access to everything at Atlantis.
From the Aquaventure website:
"Aquaventure and all water park attractions are available for registered guests of Atlantis and are included in the rates. Guests of the adjacent Comfort Inn may also visit Aquaventure. The park may make day passes available to the general public, based on availability."
You will need to call and confirm availability and purchase tickets at that time or you can book a room at the Comfort Inn to gain access to the Atlantis waterpark. CI will charge you a room rate plus maid fees and energy surcharges. It can be expensive.
If you were hoping to have a person who is a guest at Atlantis sell you their "tickets", it won't work. As a guest, you go to a booth near the pools, show your resort card and they put a bracelet on you. They won't let you leave with the bracelet unless it is on your wrist. It is the same type of bracelet that they use at many theme parks.
