My husband and I like peace and qiuet, to be surronded by nature, do lots of walking, hear and see birds around, and sometimes go snorkeling and sailing. We are thinking about these two places. If anyone stayed there please share with us your experiences. What time of the year is the best time to visit Tobago and Trinidad? Thanks
Asa Wright Center Lodge in Trinidad and Paria Springs in Tobago

One correction to my previous statement: We are thinking about Asa Wright Center Lodge and Paria Springs lacated in Trinidad and in Tobago Footprints Eco Resort and Blue Waters Inn. Thanks for any information about these four places
We have not been to Paria Springs but the other 3 places you mentioned are very nice. The Footprints Eco-Lodge is
far away from everything but a great place to enjoy hikes and nature, The Blue Waters is right on it's own beach
so the snorkeling is good and you aren't bothered by hawkers also you can take the boat from there over to Little Tobago, Asa Wright Lodge is a wonderful place to just sit and watch the birds from the terrace or take the nature trails in search of other birds.
When I was in Tobago last month, I hiked from Arnos Vale along an abandoned road to Footprints Resort. I walked through the resort and down to the beach and didn't see a single guest. The place seemed deserted. It's really in the middle of nowhere. The small village of Culloden is nearby, on top of a hill. So, if you're really looking for a place to get away from it all, this may be it.
