Aquamarine Beach Houses

I have found paradise!! My husband, 2 year old son, and mom have just returned from Aquamarine Beach House (9/10-9/17) and couldn't wait to rave about how amazing this place is. We stayed in the Sunrise Villa -balcony level. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, living/dining room combination, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning through-out, washer, and wrap around deck with views to die for. They even offered daily maid service!! The owners, Paula and John, live on site and are amazing. They even let us use their personal van during the week. They also set up a porta-crib and booster seat for our son. We went to the IGA and shopped for the week and ate on the deck most nights. It was amazing to see the sunset and the moon rise during dinner. The pool and beach are literally steps from the villa and the snorkelling is steps away too. Coral Gardens is only a short walk away. One quick note about Coral Gardens: A couple we met while diving went to CG to snorkel and had their bag stolen. The bag contained the keys to their just rented car along with cash and credit cards. Just be very careful as this stretch of beach has quite a few people on it because of the reef and it is hard to keep an eye on your belongings when you're looking at a 5 foot long barracuda and other beautiful reef fish!!
If anyone would like further information on Aquamarine Beach House, feel free to e-mail me and I'll try to answer your questions. Without a doubt, I would stay here for every visit to TCI and wouldn't even consider a condo or other resort.

I'm also going to share our experiences with Caicos Adventures on another post. A not so nice experience, unfortunately.

welcome home luvscuba, i'm so glad you had a great villa. sounds like it was perfect for you. i am renting a villa near turtle cove marina in march so will be interested to read your caicos adventures report too. we are hoping to do several excursions this time.. its too bad ppl had things taken at coral gardens. i guess with all the growth it is inevitable.

Hi Luvscuba! Glad you made it back home safe. We (me, hubby, and friend) met you, your son, and your mom at the pool that one evening. =)

I totally second Luvscuba's rave about Aquamarine Beach House. We cannot wait to go back! I'm too lazy to do a trip report right now, but I have created a website with photos. www.mymoosie.net
If anyone has any questions, drop me a line.

Hello MyMoosie,

I enjoyed all of your beautiful photos. Looks like you had a fabulous trip. Good for you. Thanks for sharing.

I have 2 questions for you.

Which snorkel trip did you take with Reef Peepers?
The 3 hr or 5 hr.

It looks like Bugaloos is now Da Conch Shack from your pictures. Yes? No?

Thanks.....

Hi Stella. Glad you enjoyed the photos. We took the afternoon 3-hr Reef Peepers snorkel trip. I think the morning trips might be better. I've noticed that the snorkeling seems better in the mornings.

I think Bugaloos is indeed now Da Conch Shack. We had called the # that was in the magazine ad and this is where they directed us to. When my hubby asked if it was still owned by Mr. Bernie Williams, our server said that he no longer owned it. We've never been to Bugaloos before, so we weren't even sure if this was in fact Bugaloos. In looking at the pictures in Caribbean Travel & Life magazine it looked like the same place, plus the conch salad is served in the same bowl.
