Anyone stayed at LaLuna in Grenada?

Hi,
I'm looking for a new place to go this winter with the husband. The last few years we've gone to the Cuisinart in Anguilla and have just loved it. I was on LaLuna's website and it looks quite nice. I was wondering if anyone has stayed there and has impressions of the property and island itself to share.

    I ended my trip to Grenada last year with a stay at LaLuna and I loved it. I'm not sure that I would pay the prices they're looking for in high season, but then again, I wouldn't pay most high season prices. :)

    It was very romantic and an intriguing combination of rustic luxury. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with a/c. Bathrooms are open air, which has turned quite a few people off. It means you'll have insects and/or lizards in the bathroom from time to time. This didn't bother us at all but it bothers some folks.

    The food was very good, if a bit pricey, but not out of line for a Caribbean hotel restaurant. We ate a few breakfasts and two dinners on site and with our rental car we sampled other places. Nice romantic setting.

    Pool was more of an afterthought. Beach was lovely and uncrowded. Decent snorkeling offshore. Open air pavilion at the bar was one of our favorite places to hang out by day and night.

    The place is very secluded, down a very bad and narrow road to get there, so it takes some effort to leave the resort once you get there. We'd been on Grenada for nearly a week by the time we moved to LaLuna and so we weren't especially fazed by the entrance road, but I can imagine other people might be.
