Any single women want to get married and move to an island with me?
Alright, granted the odds are slim that I'll meet you this way but what the heck, it's Friday, I'm at work, I'm surfin' the net, and why not?

I'm single, never been married, 37, lt brn hair, blue eyes, college educated, automotive advertising account executive, scuba diver, love to travel, etc.

Someday I want to relocate to the Caribbean and I don't want to do it alone. Looking for someone to share the experience with. I've recently been to Virgin Gorda, Tortola, Curacao, Bonaire, Belize, and Grand Cayman - each one-week scuba/sightseeing trips. Oh, and by the way, all I want is everything, is that asking too much? Looks, personality, emotional and financial stability, no skeletons in the closet, no kids, no psychotic quirks, no drugs, no smoking, just a nice, normal, down to earth girl of my dreams who is career oriented, and who has saved her money well, yet wants to escape and enjoy the Caribbean life.

I will be very surprised if I get any responses but hey, who knows? Wouldn't this make an interesting story on how we met?

Whatever,

Tom

Sign me up! ...Or is there a waiting list? If you like your women as slim as the odds of you finding someone to run off to an island with you - this is your lucky day! I'm your girl!

Seriously though - I'm trying to decide on BVI or the Caymans for a scuba/snorkeling trip. Is one superior over the other - or are they both great, just different?

Lee, you are being rude and ridiculous.

How do you know Tom doesn't go out?

I don't see anything wrong with Tom's post as long as he is extremely cautious about the replies he gets. Anytime one meets someone online, they should only meet them in person in a well-lit, well-populated public place until they really know who they are dealing with.

Hey Tom(fuscotom)and Lee!!
There's this thing, I'm not sure you've ever heard of it. It's called a JOKE!!
We even have them here in the Home, so I'm sure everyone out there has them too, you know, that sense of humor thing. Well, everyone except the FBI that is, but that's another story. Our suggestion to you is to take a deeeeeep breath, swallow a couple of Prozac (always our favorite) and read the posts without getting your panties all in a bunch. We won't hold our breath though.

Wow... check it out... looks like a few replies have been posted since I last checked!

Hmmm, where should I start? As for the Virgin Gorda question... Guavaberry Resort on Virgin Gorda, right near the baths, little individual hexogon-shaped "huts" on stilts, with kitchenettes. I didn't stay there, but it was my first choice... they were booked. Little Dix Bay is a very nice place but it will surely cost the bucks, as will Bitter End Yacht Club.

Well, that's the only question I can recall reading. As for the women who leave xxx's for emails, I guess our paths will never cross! You don't know what you're missing.

Oh, one more reply.... I'd choose BVI over Grand Cayman... although, as a diver, I recognize GC is a great place, as I sightseer/photographer, GC isn't that wonderful above the waterline. Too touristy, not enough natural, scenic beauty. Strips of hotels, shops, etc. In the BVI, nothing by law can be built taller than a palm tree...

Gotta go. I just bought three books... Blueprint to Paradise, Escape from America, and The USVI Settler's Handbook. Someday, somehow, somewhere -- I'm going to be beneath a palm tree with my toes in the sand, and sea breezes in my hair.

Noah,

Yes, you're right... thanks are due. Thank you. And by the way, I'm not a loser like most people on the internet are! ha ha Really. Seriously.

Uh-oh, now I'm bound to catch flak from all the losers out there who I've offended! ha ha

Decent Tropical: I'm sure that we all sleep better at night just knowing that you are looking out for Tom. I bet that he can probably defend himself, however.

You call me rude and look what you did to me. Talk about "...the pot calling the kettle black..."

How about we stick to TRAVEL and leave the mating part of it to the "Lonely Planet" website?

Well, well, well... look what I've started! Interesting but it doesn't get me any closer to finding the girl of my dreams and relocating to the caribbean, which, although it sounds like a dream we've probably all had, I am determined to make a reality.
