Any feedback on Elbow Beach resort?
My husband and I are looking at taking a 10-year anniversary trip this summer, and the Elbow Beach resort is the hotel we are considering. Please let me know what your experiences have been, good - bad - or otherwise! We've never been to Bermuda, we are in our mid to late 30's, and we are just trying to make the best choices without having any firsthand knowledge of our own. Thanks!

This is a very large resort which has gone through recent renovations. It has everything on site, a great beach, and some lovely oceanfront cottages. Check TripAdvisor for some reviews. There are several threads here on this site for "what to do in Bermuda". Check them out and let us know if you have questions. There are some Bermuda regulars who post here frequently.

We went to the elbow beach in august for my 40th birthday and I loved it. 2 years ago we stayed at the Fairmont Southhampton which was also nice, but i prefer the Elbow. We stayed in one the cottages and it was an amazing room. Newly renovated, huge, great view, great lanai. I would highly recommend staying in one of the renovated rooms. we brought our babysitter with us and she stayed in the hotel and i must say, the rooms in the hotel were not as bad as the reviews I read, but they pale in comparison to the renovated rooms. I loved this resort and will definetly return.

We just stayed at Elbow Beach over New Years and really enjoyed it. We stayed in one of the cottages with a good ocean view and loved the room! We had great service at this hotel from the front desk, concerierge (sp?), restaurants at the hotel, and spa. It is located in a good area to get to Hamilton quickly for a meal that is less expensive plus shopping. It is also close to Horseshoe Bay which is such a gorgeous beach! We loved Bermuda (very friendly people and beautiful island) and Elbow Beach! We also swam in their pool and it was a nice large size and heated. We swam under the stars all by ourselves! Heavenly!
