Antigua, Aruba, or Barbados?

A few single women looking for a place with fabulous beaches, watersports, a nightlife, and safety. Money is not an option. Anticipate traveling in mid-July. Thanx in advance.

I would say Aruba. It's definitely the safest of the three, has great beaches, watersports and nightlife. The other two islands are more lush since Aruba is a desert island.

Aruba is the choice if you want safety and beaches. Spent my honeymoon there in October. We drove all over the island, people are very friendly.

I totally agree with Aruba. Lots of fun for singles, safe, gorgeous beach, lots to do. Stay on the Palm Island highrise strip for the action.

Another vote for Aruba. I spent my honeymoon there in Sept '01 and we loved it so much we returned in July '03. We had a fabulous time on both trips.

Thanx all for your responses! One more question, is Aruba too couple-ish? and can single women have a great time?

Can't really say. We stayed at the Tamarijn which was nothing but couples, families and senior citizens. We are not into nightlife so I can't vouch for the bar/club/singles scene.

Not really too couplish once you get downtown. There are lots of cruise ships that dock downtown, so you still get a good mix of single party people.

One of the great things about Aruba is that it appeals to a wide variety of people -- all ages, all situations. I think it would be great for a group of singles because it's relatively safe and there's lots to do.
