Anguilla Qns - beaches, restaurants, activities

Jump to last reply

Going to Anguilla next month staying at Oceana villa. We've been there before but its been many years ('98). So would appreciate your input. Based on my reseach my list of restaurants not to be missed is -
Dinner – Veya and Straw Hat.
Lunch – Da Vida on Croucus bay (free beach loungers), Blanchards beach shack.
Pre-dinner drinks at Sunset lounge (at the Viceroy hotel…beautiful setting)

Beaches not to miss - Shoal Bay East, Maundays Bay, Meads Bay, Barnes bay, Cove Bay, Rendevous Bay.
Activities - Lunch Scilly cay or Sandy Cay, Glass bottom boat (for our girls)

Based on our last trip I remember feeling uncomfortable at Maundays bay (we left after being a bit uncomfotable by the looks we got from Cap Juluca staff on 'their' beach...we felt like we were trespassing). Is there a section of that beach which is more private and away from the resort?

Also would appreciate your feedback on the restaurant selection above and any others you would highly recommend. Also any other must do activities?

Thanks for your help in advance.
