It is a "remake" of Sirena, formerly known as La Sirena. It is being redone under the supervision of a wonderfully talented and competent person who, I also understand, will manage it when it opens. The transformation is guaranteed to be remarkable! The hotel itself sits back from the beach and you walk down a nicely landscaped path to get to Meads (about 2 minutes). It is next to the Viceroy and is walking distance to Straw Hat, Jacala and Blanchards -- 3 great west end restaurants.
I did not mean for this to be a trip report! I said that it's "being redone" because it is -- it will open this fall so obviously no one has stayed there. My "report" which was a "response" was just to say that the person in charge of the reformation is well known on the island & by me & everything she touches is first class!
Thank you for the info

Anyone tried this hotel already? We're a family of 4 (adult children) planning to stay at the hotel this coming May. Thank you.
Just returned from three days at Anacaona. Its really wonderful! The vibe is friendly and down to earth. The rooms were comfortable (we had a villa that would be terrific for four). Be sure to experience the Folklore night on Thursdays- there is a delicious island buffet and an Anguilla Cultural show that is a ton of fun-- great music-- just makes you smile!
