Yes, yet another post from someone going to the Caribbean who can't make up his mind on where to stay. I have narrowed it to 5 hotels/resorts and was hoping people who have been there could compare and contrast them for me.
The 5 "finalists" are:
Grand Case Beach Club
The Horny Toad Guest House
Hotel L'Esplanade
La Plantation
Oyster Bay Beach Resort
I thank you in advance for helping!

I have never been to any of these so I am of little help. Only thing I want to say is that I fell in love with Hotel L'Esplanade a while ago just by looking on the internet. That is definitely the place I want to stay in when I go to St. Martin for a week.
If you want to try something different from a hotel, take a look at Princess Heights. We stayed there in early February in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo and it was wonderful. It was so nice to have a living room, dining room, full kitchen. We ate breakfast at the condo and lunches and dinners out and about. In the evenings after dinner we would watch TV in the comfort of our condo on a confortable sofa and chairs with all the comforts of home. Princess Heights is as good as it's billed, very luxurious.

Just a thought. Good luck in your choice.
