A week in TCI, and some questions

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are going on a much-needed restful vacation in mid-July of the this year. We would probably prefer to go in April or May, but we have a daughter expecting a baby in early June, so we had to make it later.

We are staying at the Alexandra Resort in a corner studio unit. I know that some have said that the Alexandra is as older property, but we got am amazing deal through vrbo, and we were able to see our exact unit, so I think we will be Ok with that. Any good stories about the Alexandria?

We have traveled quite a bit, but we've never been to TCI before. What we are wanting is a totally relaxing, restful vacation. We will probably hang out on the beach during the days and then go to dinner in the evenings.

If we decide to not rent a car, are there good restaurants within walking distance of the resort? And we would need access to a grocery store, also.

The only activities we are interested in are boating and snorkeling. Any ideas for this?

Thanks for your help!!
