10th Anniversary

Hello all!
We are spending our 10th on this wonderful looking island.
We are planning to stay at Canell Beach Residence which sounds and looks quite nice. Any suggestions or horror stories at this location?
Should we rent a car for the week?
Should we 'explore' some of the islands ?
Any and all tips are very welcome.
