You wonder where to stay in montreal....stop looking i know where to go
I'm from New york and last year i went on a trip to montreal and was very suprised to find a nice and affordable place to stay right down town where everyting happens.
You need a place.....Résidences de l'uqam ouest his the place to go.....great service and wow the rates!!!! I had a private studio for 75,63$ canadien txs included a night double occupation. Just simply great. Noting bad to say about the service, actualy i needed to asked a lot of questions and had answers right away (was asking about what's good to see and visite and the events) omg....you would not beleive jazz festivals, just for laugh festival, museums, movies, and the most amazing the firework at there theme parc called La Ronde (that is to see also), anyways
Résidence de L'uqam ouest is the place to stay....any question......write me...
xxx good luck

This kind of sounds like an ad. The reason I'm saying this is that I don't know any Americans who would quote a price as 75,63$ canadien. Maybe it's someone who lives in NY now but whose first language is not English? Or maybe it's someone lives in Montreal ....

It's terrible to be a cynic.
And yet I see a message with the prices written, by a supposed New Yorker, in a style used only in Quebec.
And then I think this is a fake post, perhaps.
Or maybe not. Maybe she's a New Yorker with a French-Canadianb heritage.
What is not mentioned is that these are Univerty residences, and during the school year are occupied by students.
That said, $75 is not bad in the summer in Montreal, the places really exist, and the location, in eastern downtown isn't bad at all.
All in all, a useful post.
