Yarmouth & Acadian shores, Annapolis Royal, Grand Pree on bicycles

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are going to Nova Scotia the first week in September. He is a pilot and we are taking our bikes. we want to travel roughly from Church Point throu Annapolis Royal and go up to Grand Pree near Wolfville.
I want to do about 50 miles per day and see the historic places along the way including Port Royal, Melanson settlement, Annapolis Royal historic sites, then on to Grand Pree and a few other sights too.
Is this reasonable to do in a week with that kind of bike mileage? We have hybrids, touring bikes and plan to stay at B&Bs ang the way.
Would we be better off flying to Yarmouth, ride around there for a day, fly to Digby, travel around there and Annolis royal for a couple of days, and then fly to Kings County airport near Wolfeville? What do you recommend for planning bike routes? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
