We have come across references to Wiltondale Pioneer Village but, beyond location and a brief description, can find no further information despite searching.
Please does anyone know any details of things like its opening days/hours, website or have any experience of it?
Thanks,
Michael

I can't be much help; I have stopped at Wiltondale a few times mostly for gas. I thought it was a small grocery/general type store, gas station, small restaurant, craft store, and a few cabins. It is right on route 430. I had breakfast there this summer and the craft shop is really good. I think it may be the one that has a motorcycle museum in the basement. I sort of remember hearing that he moved some of those buildings onto that property. Do you have the Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism Guide? That may have more info.
Thanks for that. Sounds like a quick look while passing through to see what's what rather than planning time there.
We have the guide but can find no information anywhere about the pioneer village, we have only seen passing references. In due course we'll try tourist information but experience of them so far is that they are slow to reply and don't always answer the question.

We spent a few days in Gros Morne this summer based in Woody Point. Although Wiltondale is not far away, I didn't see or hear any publicity or even notice any signs for the Pioneer Village. It might be interesting to look in on, but it's certainly not a major attraction in the area. Despite having done a fair amount of research and having visited the area previously, I'd never heard of it until your post.
