Whistler in summer - snow on glacier?
I read about a summer glacier walk at Whistler that would include time to play in the snow. I was interested, especially since our youngest son does not remember having seen snow. Has anyone done this?

Whistler has a bunch of high alpine trails that are accessible from either the Whistler Mtn or Blackcomb Mtn lifts:

Here is a map of the Whistler Mtn. trails:

There should be plenty of snow to play in at the top of the Whistler Peak chair, but if you want to actually walk to a glacier, you should go to Blackcomb. You can still ski there until the end of July:

Hi Bellhouse,
You should be able to find snow to play in on both mountains, and you could still ski on Blackcomb Glacier in the summer. If you need accommodation, try www.alluadirect.com or www.vrbo.com, or let me know what you are looking for and I can help with recommendations. Cheers, Al
