What to do if I have 5 days in Vancouver

Jump to last reply

Hi,my family is taking a 7N cruise to Alaska and upon reaching Vancouver we have 5 days to plan our trip. I am wondering should we just stay for 2 days in Vancouver and drive to Seattle for another 3 days which we were just cover city area or should we plan a trip to Banf and Lake Louise?
I look at the rocky mountaineer itinerary it seems we have to be on the train for 2 full days and wonder if we were to go banf should we self drive or take the rail.
If we were to drive from Vancouver to banf how should we plan our route and itinerary if we only he say about 3 days to drive out of Vancouver and to be back in Vancouver. Would really appreciate all advice. Thank you.
