Weekend in Montreal to Celebrate 30th Birthday
My friends and I are traveling up to Montreal on July 29th to celebrate some of our 30th birthdays. We're already thinking about visiting the Montreal Jazz Festival and doing the Lachine River Rapids. Do folks have suggestions on other must-do activities and things to do at night?
We would also love restaurant recommendations for laid-back places with good food.
Thanks!

My previous post could have been more helpful. Here are some tools for sorting out the pleasures of Montreal:
https://www.tourisme-montreal.org/ The official site has lots of information. You can also go to the Destinations menu at the top of this Fodor's page.
http://www.stm.info/en Public transit, including the Metro subway, is essential for getting around in a city with miserable traffic and even unhappier parking.

Bon voyage.
