Weather in Nova Scotia during May???

Carnival Cruise lines will be travelling from Boston to Nova Scotia the end of May this year. Does anyone know what the typical weather would be in Nova Scotia at that time?

Thanks for your help.

This probably isn't the answer you're looking for but.........it all depends. Last 2 years it was summery and warm all through may and june BUT it can be very cool and wet depending on the year. You'll be fine with a wind breaker / gore-tex jacket and a sweater if it's really bad. Good time to sight-see though; the crowds are a fraction of what they'll be in July, Aug & Sept.

Highs of between 60-70
Lows between 40-50
Some rain every other day, more or less, but probably not all day long.
If you want a million details, go to http://www.cmc.ec.gc.ca/climate/

So true...you just never know. Be advised, though, that 70 degrees in Nova Scotia is chillier than you'd presume because of the ocean air.

They are right...with Nova Scotia Weather you never know what you'll get. Try to bring some layers..even if it does hit the 70's during the day, the evenings can be cool and damp.
