Waterton Lakes quick trip?

Jump to last reply

My current travel plans are to ferry from Victoria to Seattle August 29, then fly Seattle -Kallispall September 1 to meet with friends for hiking in Glacier National Park. I was planning to explore Seattle, wander around, maybe going for a hike somewhere close by. Now I'm wondering now how easy/difficult it would be to fit in a trip to Waterton Lakes, in particular to do the Crypt Lake Walk - a day walk which I've recently heard about.
Options could be to fly direct to Lethbridge from Victoria, then fly Lethbridge to Kallispall on the 1st. Or fly from Seattle. Is it worth it?
Alternatively, should I keep it simple and stay in Seattle and look for day hikes from there? (I am already booked to fly Seattle/Kalispell on the 1st).
Learned thoughts?
