Victoria/butchart gardens

We are looking for a clean pet-friendly accommodation for a two-night stay in Victoria. Our visit is mostly to see Butchart Gardens and to see the inner harbour nightly festival. We are wondering whether Sidney would be a good choice or will it be too noisy with the planes? We are on our way to Qualicum from there so want to plan trip with as little driving as possible - would it be advisable to stay close to Butchart Gardens so that we could go in the morning and then drive to Qualicum in the afternoon? Thanks

HI again. I think you will be happy with staying at the Admiral Inn as you are so close to all the inner harbor action. You can still see Butchart on you way to Qualicum. The drive is no more than 30 mins (or less) depending on traffic.

Great, I just booked 2 nights at Admiral Inn at very reasonable rate. Now we can look for two restaurants nearby- any ideas? Thank for input!

What type of food do you like? There are lots of restaurants within easy walking distance to the hotel but do you have any preferences?

Here are a couple of websites - I usually find when I travel that tripadvisor is usually good
