Going to Vancouver with 10 and 8 year olds near the end of the year. Have been there single but never considered kids. Will stay at the Sheraton on Robson, so in the middle of plenty.....but what to do with kids? They are desert kids, who get to enjoy NYC frequently, so they love cities, they are easy, somewhat adventurous. Need any fun suggestions, or trips closeby to the city that we can book without renting a car, thanks!

In a nutshell, kids typically enjoy Stanley Park, biking around the seawall, the Vancouver Aquarium, Lynn Canyon Park, Grouse Mountain, a day spent on the beach, hiking the local mountains, sea kayaking, whale watching, zip lining, etc.
Science World might interest them. www.sciencworld.ca
The Aquarium is interesting for kids since you see the marine life in this area (though admission is more expensive). Since it's in Stanley Park, they can run around there or rent a bike as the above poster mentioned.
Hello again ... noticed the link to Science World was not correct! Try this: www.scienceworld.ca
Thanks, great start to planning, funny how you readjust your thinking once kids are involved!!!
Traveling with a toddler and need to get around Vancouver for 2 days. We will be visit after our cruise to Alaska so I won't be traveling with a car seat. Can someone please provide tips/suggestions? We need to get from airport to hotel and using public transportation.
