There is train service between Vancouver and Seattle. Think it's Amtrak, but I'm not sure and don't know the price. You might try the Seattle or Vancouver web sites for more info. Dick
Cathy,
There is an Amtrak train that goes from Seattle to Vancouver or vice verses but only one each day. The price is reasonable. Also a quickshuttle bus that leaves about every half hour. Check out www.quickshuttle.com or www.amtrak.com.
I have never been to Seattle or Vancouver, but I'm going this August. I wrote away to the Seattle Chamber of Commerce/Department of Tourism and they sent me a whole package of information. One brochure was from a company who runs ferry trips and packages between Seattle, Victoria and Vancouver and you can structure your travel however you want. It looked like a fun and beautiful way to get from Point A to Point B. Unfortunately, I don't have the specific information anymore, but I bet you could get it from the Seattle Chamber of Commerce/Dept. of Tourism
Good luck.
