Toronto International Airport to Union Train Station

Can anyone suggest the best way from Toronto International Airport (YYZ) to Union Train Station, at 65 Front Street West? We'll be boarding the Canadian for a trip west to Vancouver. Thanks

Most inexpensive way - take transit. The bus will take you to the subway. The subway will take you to Union Station (but you will have to switch trains at St. George Station or Yonge Station (St. George is less busy).

Best way (if money is not an issue), take a taxi (but it will cost you)

Almost forgot - another possibility is the airport shuttle bus that goes from the airport to the downtown hotels. One of its stops is the "Fairmont Royal York" hotel which is located DIRECTLY across the street from Union Station.

How many are you? If it was only 1 or even 2 people, the airport shuttle (as mentioned) is a good alternative. For me, the bus and subway option is too much work if you've got luggage.

Limos -- usually Lincln Town Cars-- are, I understand, close to the price of a regular usually fairly grungy taxi.

Round trip on the big airport buses is, I believe, cheaper than two one-way trips.

Pacific Western is the airport bus company.

The real answer to "best way" s how much luggage, do you care about price, how many people.

Two backpackers can save a bundle taking the regular Toronto Transit bus and subway from the airport.

Anyway, of you want the cheap bus-subway, tell us and we'll provide more specific info.
