Toronto Dim Sum

My boyfriend and I are going to be in Toronto this weekend. He has never had dim sum and this seems like a good place to experience it.
We are staying at the Eaton Chelsea and will not have a car. Also, I'd like to go to a place with cart service for the full experience. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Used to have great Dim Sum over on Dundas Street West near the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO). Sorry I do not recall the name of the restaurant but perhaps somebody here can help.

We went two times. The first was Rol San. Very very busy on Sunday at 10:30 am. We waited about 30 minutes for a table. It was a menu order, and I've never done that before, so a few mistakes were made. All in all, it was good. The food was hot, fresh and tasty.

Today we decided to try for cart service so we went to Dim Sum King Seafood on the 3rd floor of a building on Dundas street We were the only non-Asians there and the staff was very helpful. Not too crowded on a Monday morning. The food was delicious. We both felt it was better than Rol San, and it was about $10 less expensive for the same amount of food.

My boyfriend had never had Dim Sum before and he is a fan now.

Thanks,

Ginger

Thanks for your update, Ginger!

Happy that it all worked out. And, I see that things worked out fine for the parking too.
