Torino in february
Are we crazy? We visited Tofino years ago and always thought about going back in the winter.our plan is to fly in to Vancouver and drive to Whistler for a few days of skiing and then back to Tofino ( I think around the 6th of February ) and then to Vancouver for a couple of days. I know that Tofino will be quiet then but will there be restaurants open. Is there anywhere else we should visit when there? I was thinking we spend 4 nights.

You're not crazy at all. Tofino is beautiful to visit any time of the year. February means winter storms on the Pacific - the scenery is much more dramatic. The clouds are always changing, the light shifts through the clouds more dramatically, and there's more energy in the ocean. As a result, Tofino's tourism industry is bustling in February with surfers coming to surf the waves and couples coming to stay cozy to "storm watch". It's a thing. Since Tofino's a temperate rainforest, rain is a reality any time of the year. It's no less crazy to visit in February as it is in August. The place doesn't shut down. Everything will be open.

what good news, this is what I want to hear. we stayed at Middle Beach Lodge before and thought it was pretty nice. Do you know anything about it now? Any other places you'd recommend to visit while there?
