Top Chef Canada - Season 2 Anyone watching ?

So what did you think of the premier episode ? (Monday, March 12th)

They certainly seem like a disparate lot. I didn't see anyone that showed extraordinary talent and finesse, but maybe that will come through as the season progresses. I think that the girls from Taipei and Peru as well as the guy from BC who is half British and half East Indian and the guy from Markham who now works in Ottawa all have potential, though the lack of formal training in the latter guy may eventually work against him.
I agreed with three of the top 4 picks, but not with the choice of the winner.
I also agreed with the choice of person sent home.

Still don't like the judges and cannot stand Sheeren. She can be very demeaning and immature. And her tone of voice annoys me ! She could sure learn something from Gail on the US series. And Gail is Canadian too...wish she'd come back. Lisa Ray's presentation seemed a little forced and uneven but perhaps she will grow more comfortable as the season progresses. I liked her when the judges were discussing the plates privately. She seemed more relaxed then.
