Hi- We'll be waking up in Port Hawkesbury on Saturday Oct 7 because we have tickets for a Celtic Colours concert there the night before. And that Oct 7 evening we need to end up at our Halifax airport hotel for a 6am flight sunday morning.
Given all that, does anyone have suggestions of what tide experience we could hope to squeeze in on Oct 7? I know we can't see lo, hi, and tidal bore given where we are starting our day. I would settle for a nice lookout point between Wolfville/Truro area, or else walking the beach at low tide sounds fun too. But when I looked at table for Oct 7 for Burncoat Head and it says Low tides are 7:35am and 7:59pm with high tide 1:38pm. Tidal bore in Truro that day says 1240p.
Any suggestions? Would it still be enjoyable to walk the beach at low tide if its in the evening?
Thanks for any ideas/help.
