Things to do in Charlotte Town

Jump to last reply

Going to be in Charlottetown late May. Is rental car a necessity? What are some of the must see? We are looking at booking into the Delta or Holman Grand. Are they walking distance to everywhere downtown? Are there hop-on hop-off buses that takes you around town or the island? Are cab fare reasonable and easy to get a cab? What are some of the do not miss restaurants (or pub)? Any info would be appreciated.

BTW, we are staying for about a week, I am attending meetings for 2 days so DW will be looking for things to do on her own for a couple of days and then we are free to roam around for the rest of the week. We have not been to Charlottetown since the 70's so for all intend and purposes, you might as well say we've never been there.
