With small kids it's hot year-'round and not only in Montreal.

Here are the Montreal average High/Low temperatures in Fahrenheit and Centigrade (Celsius)so you can judge for yourself whether the children will be cold. I'd certainly want a warm jacket.

Montreal Weather Average Temperatures:

January F -10/15 C -15/-6

April F 34/52 C 1/11

July F 59/79 C 15/26

October F 39/55 C 2/11

You just never know and it all depends upon what temps you consider "chilly". After sub-zero temps in February and March, when it goes above 40 or 50 or even 60 in April, we think it's "tropical".
