Rv Campground trip

Hi we will be in the Maritime area for 1 week. Traveling in our RV with 3 children ages between 7-10.
Trying to figure which areas we should set up camp. We are more nature, hiking, adventure lovers rather than museum sightseers. So far I am interested in Red Point on PEI as a place to camp for 3 to 4 days. Would like to pass through Hopewell Cape on the drive into the area. Having a hard time deciding which area to camp in Nova Scotia- Digby/Lunenburg or Cape Breton area. Would love some RV campground suggestions in either area. Also, opinions which area offers activities children may enjoy more between the two. Thank you in advance for your help!
