Hello
my husband and I will be venturing to New Brunswick and then to Halifax by car from NJ.in the next week or so.
Do we need to make room reservations, or do you think we'll be OK if we just drive and stop when we want to?
Any help and/or suggestions will be appreciated in that area and in the areas of dining, must-see's, etc.
Thank you for any help.

YES YES YES
Make reservations. My experience has been that you just never know what is going on in NB and NS and we have been left frantically searching many a time. There are lots of good posts in the last month of super suggestions for places to see and things to do. You should check them out. Have a great trip.
