Recommendations please - romantic getaway to Niagara on the Lake

Planning a romantic getaway in November to Niagara on the Lake and would appreciate recommendations for place to stay. Price not a consideration. Prefer romantic setting, large room, fireplace, whirlpool/jacuzzi, and refrigerator. Ideally room has separate entrance but recognize this might be a stretch. On premise dining not required. Appreciate your recommendations.

Loved Niagara on the Lake. We stayed in a b&b there - not romantic in any way, however, it was the best gourmet breakfasts we have ever had anywhere. She was a cook in Denmark and then in Canada and now runs a b&b.

Niagara on the lake is the best place to stay if visiting Niagara Falls.

When we drove to the falls to park, we drove to the very last parking lot from the falls and it was only $5 to park and you get a free bus ride (short ride) to the falls. Was better than paying the $20 to park across the street and it was a much further walk to the falls than being dropped off at the falls by the bus.

Haven't stayed here, but have friends who have, and they loved it. Not sure if it meets all of your requirements, but worth a look:
The owner used to be a chef in paris I think.

Check out the Charles Inn
I think it is just what you are looking for and if you do a search on it on this forum someone else recommended it highly

I can't give you any specific advice, ajolder -- I just wanted to say I like the way you think!

My favorite in NOTL - is Pillar and Post Inn - staff is wonderful - old building - lots of charm - but the rooms are updated with fireplaces also an onsite spa -
food is amazing - make sure your trip includes trips to the vineyards and if possible the Shaw Festival
going to the Falls/Casinos
I totally agree with the others that parking away from the falls and taking the "people movers" to get around is the way to go no hassles with traffic and parking

The Prince of Wales has Cottages that seem to meet your interests... they share the spa with Pillar and Post with a small shuttle ride...
