I have seen raft trips on the Athabasca River as they floated by me. The water is swift, but I don't think they went over rough rapids because of the number of people in the boat.
There is a web site for Jasper. It might list the boat concessioners.
We did raft up there a few years ago when visiting from Banff to Jasper. I think the place we went was closer to Lake Louise and to the west. In August the water was low and the river quite mild. If I come across any brochures around the house I'll post again.
There's a great website on the Canadian Rockies, where you can find info on raft trips. They list a company called "Wild Blue Yonder," which lists trips on various rivers with specified levels of difficulty:
