The Townships is a beautiful area of Quebec, with many areas founded by Loyalists from the US. Nature abounds, cycling, hiking, tree adventure park. Using Sutton as a base,(we booked through Hebergement Sutton), then went off to do the Wine Route (about 15 minutes away). The restaurants were great, Beaux Lieux in Sutton especially good. Everyone was very friendly. Fall foliage is said to be spectacular, our next planned trip. Easy access to Burlington, VT airport. Like going to Europe but much easier. Most everyone speaks English.

Niagara Falls - fun weekend

We have good friends who live in Sutton and have had the chance to spend both glorious summer days and wonderful Christmas vacations skiing, both downhill and cross-country, with them. In all seasons, Sutton is a fabulous small town, with some very intriguing small stores, good restaurants with excellent wine list and a great atmsophere all round.
We spent a couple of days there a few years ago - really lovely area and I'd love to go back.
