Preclearing US customs in Canada

Jump to last reply

I'm planning to fly from Seattle to New Brunswick Canada and return via AirCanada. My return flight will start in Fredericton New Brunswick, with a stop in Toronto, and then another stop in Vancouver before flying to Seattle. Where will I go through US customs? I had thought it would be Vancouver as that would be my last stop before entering the US, but when I asked AirCanada, the woman told me it would be in Toronto. That didn't sound right, but it could be, so I thought I would check here. I would like to know so I can choose the right itinerary with a longer amount of time needed between flights for customs. Thank you!
