Previous post did not reference PEI. Am looking for family-friendly (pre-school and early school age) accommodations hopefully near a great sheltered beach (waves and riptides). Any suggestions?

gmgrant: I just saw your previous inquiry entitled "Accomodations." In future, you might want to stay with the initial inquiry instead of creating a new title, which separates your inquiries.
Anyway, the last couple fo weeks I've looked through this forum and have seen lots of discussions about the Maritimes. You can focus your research by entering "PEI" and it will bring up all discussions about that. I just received PEIs vacation planner. Very good--it took about 9 days to get it. You can order it online from PEI's official website (just plug "PEI" or "Prince Edward Island" into Google and it'll pop up. We're going this summer, too. I hope someone will give you some specific ideas. Good luck and have a great trip!
We stayed at a place called Shaw's Cottages - by the beach, good dining and they have a web site - higher recommend it - it's about 30 mintes from Charlottetown.
