Overnight Stop between Montreal and Quebec City
I am heading from northern Vermont to a night at the Hotel de Glace in Quebec City next month. Any suggestions on a place to stay the night before on the way? Drummondville appears to be about halfway but I am not seeing any intriguing places to see or stay there. Simple B&B, cabin, or motel would be perfect. Parks, museums, cheese/maple/wine stops also a possibility. Any ideas?

The whole path from, say, Burlington, to QC, is 240 miles and just over 4 hours of travel time.
With that in mind, it doesn't matter too much where you stop, but if you are inclined to stop for a night, I would do so to allow a leisurely journey between Trois Rivieres and QC on the second day.
Go through the small towns along the north side of the river there, taking the small highway, vs. the parallel main highway.
